- Your dump parameters are fine. RTFM the sections on st: under 4.1.2,
- the tape device files allow you explicit control over whether you use
- 8200 or 8500 mode. Try using /dev/rst8.

- As for the total tape capacity, 5.0GB is fictional maximum from PBOT to
- PEOT; depending on the tape you use, the number of write errors, and
- your ability to stream the drive, you willl get between 4.6GB and
- 4.9GB.

- We tell our users 4GB: that accounts for streaming, tape eaten by ECC,
- tape quality, and the tape labels, etc, written by our backup SW.
