- I have added a third ethernet card to our Sun 3, and have
- reconfigured the kernel for it. During the initial
- bootup sequence, the new card is apparently recognized
- correctly:
-
- zs1 at obio 0 pri 3
- ie0 at obio c0000 pri 3
- ie1 at vme24d16 e88000 vec 0x75
- ie2 at vme24d16 c88000 vec 0x76 << new third card
- bwtwo0 at obmem ff000000 pri 4
- bwtwo0: resolution 1152 x 900
-
- During rc.local, however, I get the following message at
- the point where the line "/etc/mount -vat nfs" is
- executed:
-
- revarp: Requesting Internet address for X:X:XX:X:XX:XX [my substitution of X's]
-
- ...and the boot sequence hangs at this point, because I
- echo this command on the line following it, and it never
- gets that far. That hex address printed is the correct
- hardware address for the machine.
-
- I can find no references to revarp in any documentation.
- Can someone illuminate me?
-
- Thank you in advance.
