  10. Just tried to install 4.0.5 over network. But i couldn't
  11. succeed in loading miniroot.
  12. It seems, the problem is within the network. I have to pass
  13. several gateways to reach my load-host. But i don't know
  14. whether my local machine has any information about routing when
  15. working within PROM monitor.

  17. I succeeded when moving my local machine to the same subnet
  18. as the loadhost, but this should be avoided next times.

  20. So, how can i reach loadhosts over heterogeneous network (including VMS)?
  21.  
  22. Or, would it be possible to install the distribution area on another
  23. host (Sun) in my local subnet via ftp?
