- Has anyone noticed that 4ddn on irix 4.0.4 advertises itself as a system type
- DEC. When using "network copy" from a macintosh a users reports that he
- can list and select files on our 4d/240D but the copy fails. He also notices
- that 4ddn is saying it is a system type "DEC" but a microvax says it is "VMS"
- and an ultrix says it is type "UNIX". I presume that "netcopy" gets somewhat
- confused about the directory stucture as it comes back with a VMS type
- directory name that it cannot find. This problem occurred when we moved up
- to 4.0.4 from 4.0.1 which we did because there were "no changes to 4ddn" in
- the release notes.
