  19. The CAP package in public domain is excellent for this, but Wollongong
  20. has also an NFS package which allow mounting of NFS systems on the
  21. Mac. In addition the K-Share packe is availabel for file sharing .

  23. NFS-Share from wollongoing requires only installation of software on
  24. the Mac, while the K-Share package only requires installation of
  25. software on the SGI computer. Your choice.

  27. The CAP package is available from sumex-aim.stanford.edu or
  28. ftp.funet.fi in the mac directory (i.e. /pub/mac/...)

  30.    The 4D/20 already talks to a few IBMR6000's (via NFS) and my
  31.    MacII can ftp to the 4D/20 (with VersaTerm Pro) but it would
  32.    be nice for the Mac to have an icon of the 4D/20's disk on its
  33.    desktop and vice-versa.

  35.    I guess AUX would be one (the *only*?) way to go...

  37. The AUX NFS software is known to have quite a number of errors. I
  38. would thus recommend another solution. Besides AUX is not cheap.
