- WHAT is the difference between the serial port devices -- ttym, ttyd, ttyf?
- This is (of course) not documented anywhere. I have a printer currently
- set up to do x-on/x-off, which works fairly well with ttyd. I would LIKE
- to make it do ready/busy (DTR, DSR, whatever).
-
- Do I still use ttyd and try to set stty to do this, or is ttyf intended
- to do this instead? And what about ttym (which seems to be intended for
- modems, but who knows)?
-
- Any clues will be appreciated.
