- I have a very old 4D210GTX which currently uses an ESDI Disk drive
- as the system disk. I want to use a SCSI disk as the system disk.
- Specifically an IMPRIMIS94601-15 that I received from Nihon Silicon
- Graphics. Anyway I can not get unix to boot successfully from the
- SCSI disk - it allways crashes halfway through booting unix.
- I have a newer 4D240GTX that uses the same type of drive as a system
- disk without any problems.
-
- Is there special firmware in old 210GTX that means that the system disk
- must be ESDI ???
