- Could someone tell me how to go about casting shadows as in the
- "ideas" demo. Also, will the same approach be used for casting shadows
- onto a set of polygons composing a curved surface?
-
- We have an application in which we are trying to simulate light
- shining through a grid onto a curved surface. (Like through a window
- onto a hilly section behind your house.) So far I haven't been able to
- do this without doing explicit raytracing.
-
- I would appreciate email to the address given above, since we are now
- bordering on several hundred articles a day in comp.sys.sgi :). Thanks
- in advance for any help.
