- I also would like to be able to display gl output on an X device. In order
- to get this functionality, I would knowingly give up the interactivity that
- comes with gl on an Iris.

- We need to display (2-D, grey-scale, x-ray-like) images that are computed
- on our Iris on Macs that sit in physician's offices.
