- Hi,
- I am having some problems extracting depth from the zbuffers when
- using the perspective projection. Normally, the use of the perspective
- projection destroys depth information. However, I am assuming that somehow SG's transformation preserves the integrety of the depth
- information so that zbuffers may be used effectively.
-
- When I do an lrectread from the zbuffers the depths are
- somewhat distorted. My basic question is how do I remove this "distortion"
- in the depth values.
-
- All of this works perfectly under the orthographic projection; however,
- if possible I would like to use perspective to make a scene more
- "real".
-
- Thanks
