- I think the main distinction here about OpenGL which makes it different than
- Explorer or DPS is that OpenGL represents the future of SGI's graphics
- library. If one is currently purchasing the developers option then
- one will almost certainly be given OpenGL on the future developers
- option.

- Eventually on future machines there will be no IrisGL. As a consequence,
- OpenGL will be available in the same way that IrisGL is available
- now. As Mr. Bartelt has mentioned, the "pinstripers" may come along and
- change this. If they do, then it will be something of the sort where the
- bundling of the developers option changes.
