  11. Recently, there have been questions in this newsgroup regarding
  12. Apple support for Newton Development. The Newton platform will
  13. definitely be open to developers, and Apple will encourage and
  14. facilitate Newton development!

  16. At this time, there is little information available to developers
  17. since only the Newton technology has been introduced, not a particular
  18. product. An AppleLink mail address has been established through which 
  19. prospective developers can contact the Newton group regarding their
  20. interest in developing hardware and/or software products for the Newton
  21. platform. This mechanism is being used primarily right now to collect,
  22. review, and categorize the interest in Newton development so that we can
  23. plan on how to best support Newton developers.
