- It looks like you have something in your startup sequence that puts the
- 95 into a "light sleep" mode. That is a go-slow power saving mode that
- the system changes to when it thinks the CPU might be spinning in loop
- waiting for input. It only slows down the machine when running from
- batteries.

- Try commenting out things from you config.sys until you find the culprit.
