- Since I went through my first set of Energizer on my 95LX in about 4 weeks
- (which I thought was rather short), I thought I should invest in an AC adapter
- for those long serial port sessions. What's the requirements? I went thru
- the manual and it doesn't say anything about the voltage and current. So,
- what do I need? Since I recall reading that the screen refresh rate is
- dependent upon whether you're running off of batteries or the AC adapter,
- I suspect that I need more than 3V? How much current? (I notice that there
- seems to be a non-small difference in price between two AC adapter of different
- current rating...)

-
- Radio Shack has an adaptor which does the job, for not too much $.
- It's also a lot smaller than the HP model, which is way oversized
- for the application.
-
- If you happen to own a Sony portable CD player, you might already
- have a suitable adaptor.
-
- The requirements are 9V; I'll let someone with the manual in front
- of them supply the current spec.
