- Has anyone sucessfully mounted a third party MO drive that was formatted under
- DOS? A user has some data that was generated on a PC and stored on the
- optical disk that they formatted as a DOS High capacity removable media.
- Since it is a standard SCSI device, plugging it into the NeXT was not the
- problem. The problem is that we are unable to mount the disk (even under
- NS3.0 which supposedly supports DOS and Mac formats). Does anyone know of a
- utility or driver that would allow us to read and write to this optical? I
- tried using FloppyWorks but that only supports 720K & 1.44M Dos floppies (but
- it does support High capacity Mac drives!) and various other utilities but I
- could not get the disk mounted... any suggestions???????
-
- I also tried to format the disk for DOS under the NeXT but the BuildDOS app
- only supports 720K and 1.44M floppies.....
