  12. Well, thanks to all the people who gave me advice on installing our new drive.   
  13. I received several RTFM comments, but those people were kind enough to point  
  14. out which FM's to look at.  Maxtor included a wealth of information with the  
  15. drive, so I could make sure everything was configured properly.
  16.  
  17. I strained my brain trying to figure out how to copy all the files over.  First  
  18. I just tried dragging everything into the new disk's icon.  That resulted in  
  19. everything on the new disk belonging to root.  Then I figured out tar well  
  20. enough to get it to copy almost everything (except for a few things with long  
  21. filenames, which I copied manually).  Then I changed the SCSI address to 0,  
  22. powered on, and everything is working beautifully.
