  13. I finished installing Mathematica on my Nextstation last night, after  
  14. getting
  15. the  password from Wolfram Research.
  16.  
  17. I expected to get a prompt like IN[1] = like the Mathematica book shows.
  18. Instead, when I click on Notebook, I get a blank page (Untitled-1) without
  19. any prompt.
  20.  
  21. I tried clicking on different options but nothing gave me a prompt.
  22.  
  23. I believed Mathematica is installed properly: I can type Mathematica* from
  24. the shell prompt and the Mathematica icon appears.  (Even though the
  25. installation booklet says I should type "math" and Mathematica will  
  26. execute.
  27. But that didn't work.)

  29. My apologies to Andreas Deras, whose troubles I now share.
  30. Any help would be appreciated.
