  14. I have recently placed updated versions of my games in
  15. the submissions directories of nova.cc.purdue.edu and
  16. cs.orst.edu.  Here's a brief description of the changes
  17. to all three (PacMan, Columns, and PillBottle).

  21. PacMan:

  23. Bug fixes, mostly.  The Makefile is fixed, the console
  24. messages should be gone, the return char. in the subject
  25. field of the suggestions mailer is gone, and so on.  I
  26. think I've nabbed all the reported _bugs_, but haven't
  27. had time to get around to much in the new feature category.

  29. There are two new features, however.  (1) You can now set
  30. the background picture by drag and drop of a .tiff or .eps
  31. image from the WorkSpace.  (2) The stats and fruit basket
  32. panels move around with the PacMan window.

  36. Columns:

  38. The only real change is the addition of drap and drop
  39. backgrounds as in PacMan.  However, if you are a registered
  40. user, you may now request source code from me and I will
  41. e-mail it to you.

  45. PillBottle:

  47. This is an interim release.  I'm hard at work revamping
  48. things, but felt that I'd like to share some of what I've
  49. accomplished now...most of the improvements are in the
  50. underlying code, and not so visible on the surface, but
  51. the interface is prettier and the images (finally) ought
  52. to look good on both color _and_ monochrome machines.  If
  53. you thought the graphics were ugly before, try it out
  54. again; I think it looks a bit better now.  I still need to
  55. speed up drawing and finish the implementation of several
  56. features, but it's getting there.  If you registered for
  57. PillBottle, you may now request source for that as well.
  58. It's not what I'd call a finished state, but you can have
  59. a peek at it just the same. :-)

  75. hasn't shown up yet, don't panic!  I'm working as fast as I
  76. can of these, but there's only so much spare time in the day!
