- NewsGrazer did the best it could for implementing "Reply" on a release 2.1
- system. Unfortunately the best it can do is to use an undocumented (and not
- completely tested) side-door into mail. This side-door lets newsgrazer pop
- up mail messages, but has the undesirable side-effect that you've described.
-
- I've been nailed by this as well. To avoid it, either post that Mail
- message before running newsgrazer, or miniaturize the Send window (so it's
- an icon instead of a window).
-
- As I understand it, release 3.0 has a new interface for Mail, and using this
- interface the above problem will not come up. I imagine that NewsGrazer
- needs to be changed to take advantage of this new interface, but once that's
- done then this problem will be a distant (and unpleasent) memory.
