- Some time back, NeXT got complaints about Sam Streeper having done
- Backspace and made it free. Bunch of bullshit about level playing
- field type of stuff. Pretty bogus all around. If you have to have a
- level playing field in order to sell your product, then I wouldn't
- consider it to be all that good. Sorta like the auto industry
- bitching about level playing field. If they made better cars, then
- we'd buy them. Anyways, all copies at archives were supposed to be
- frozen or removed so folks couldn't get them. Then NeXT decided that
- they'd leave it out there, but that Sam couldn't update it or make any
- changes. I heard that it'll be included in 3.0 developer examples,
- after all it's pretty good one for dynamic loading of .o files. I
- wish I knew were to get a copy because I'd really like to study it and
- see how it works.
