  25. Perhaps I should add my two cents (Dfl 0.02), because the reason of  
  26. malfunctioning of MY Neuron modem I've never seen described before, and it  
  27. might be a very general 'bug'. I discovered it in May, when it steadily  
  28. grew warmer in the Netherlands (even got days with 20+ degrees - Celsius  
  29. that is). You know what: as soon as the room temperature goes beyond 23,  
  30. the modem starts to get 'carrier problems', the SQ (signal quality) light  
  31. starts to flicker and after a while (on a News transfer) it simply  
  32. declares 'carrier lost'. I solve this by getting a litre pack of yoghurt  
  33. out of the refrigerator and laying it on the modem just a quarter of an  
  34. hour before the news transfer starts: no problem (that's how I got this  
  35. one - temperature is now 24).
