- Hello.
-
- I was wondering if there are any products out there to mount NFS
- disks from a unix TCP/IP network (i.e. NeXTs) onto a macintosh?
- Right now we have 2 NeXT on a TCP/IP network and 3 macs on an
- ethertalk network. I have heard of a product called CAP which
- might do something like this. If anyone can give me information
- on CAP or on other products to do this I would be grateful. Our big
- disks are on our NeXTs and we would much rather have the macs connect
- to the NeXT network rather than make the NeXT connect to the mac
- network (like becoming an appleTalk server).
-
- Another question: can one run both TCP/IP and some other network
- protocol (like novell or ethertalk) at the same time on the same
- network (i.e. the same wiring)?
-
- Thanks
- Mike Haker
