- As "the author" of the changes to Emacs2.0 that turned in Emacs2.1, I don't
- understand what you find strange. I used the program for almost 6 months
- before it was placed on the archives.

- The goal on opening a file was to be able to double-click on a file in the file
- viewer, and 1) have Emacs startup with the file visited in a buffer, or 2) have
- Emacs, already running, visit the file in a buffer.

- Another goal was to be able to open many files at once.

- These things it does (provided the DefaultOpenApp stuff is set in the
- workspace). I am satisfied. So please be more specific if you have a gripe.
