- I've taken Erik's program, made a few changes to it, and uploaded it to the
- pub/next/submissions directory as:
- -rw-r--r-- 1 ftp 35906 Jul 24 19:42 USDebtWatch0.2.tar.Z
- -rw-r--r-- 1 ftp 1509 Jul 24 19:43 USDebtWatch0.2.README

- The main addition is a new preference item to save away the current location
- of the applications windows in the defaults database. This means each user
- can have the windows pop up where he or she wants to see them.
-
- I mention this because this is a feature I'd like to see other programs
- have. Not all programs save away the location of windows, and the ones that
- do have different methods for doing that. I personally like the idea of
- having an explicit preference option to do it, so I can say "Save them away
- as they are right now", and then not have to worry that the default values
- will change if I have to temporarily move one of those windows aside while
- running the program.
-
- I uploaded this to sonata after exchanging a few messages with Eric. Note
- that he intends to have a version 0.3 out sometime soon. Send all messages
- about the program to him at: sowa@netcom.com (Erik Sowa)
-
- This is a nice little mini-example program, since the source is included.
