  24. I've taken Erik's program, made a few changes to it, and uploaded it to the  
  25. pub/next/submissions directory as:

  29. The main addition is a new preference item to save away the current location  
  30. of the applications windows in the defaults database.  This means each user  
  31. can have the windows pop up where he or she wants to see them.

  33. I mention this because this is a feature I'd like to see other programs  
  34. have.  Not all programs save away the location of windows, and the ones that  
  35. do have different methods for doing that.  I personally like the idea of  
  36. having an explicit preference option to do it, so I can say "Save them away  
  37. as they are right now", and then not have to worry that the default values  
  38. will change if I have to temporarily move one of those windows aside while  
  39. running the program.
