  17. You can but it won't read the file into the buffer (Emacs just
  18. launches the front end, which in turn calls emacs but does not seem to
  19. pass along arguments). Once you get used to the fact
  20. thatmouse-selected regions are not highlighted (as in emacs running
  21. under X), it certainly beats using emacs in a terminal window.
