- Ok,
- I have read all of the FAQ's and I am now lost. I have a ZyXel 14.4kbps modem
- that needs to talk to the serial port at 38.4kbps with hardware flow control. I
- don't want to do UUCP, I don't want do setup dial in support, all I want is to be
- able to use my modem with kermit to transfer files back and forth. The problem I
- am having is that the device (/dev/cufa) the modem is connected to is always BUSY
- when I try to add stuff in the /etc/ttys file for it.
-
- Question #1
- What (if any) modifications do I have to make in my /etc/ttys file?
- Question #2
- Can I setup my modem to send FAXs and still use the modem via kermit (more
- device busy problems here)?
- Question #3
- How do I use rz sz etc... in kermit, that is using kermit as my interface
- between my modem and my NeXT how do I shell out and use rz (redirects to the device
- don't seem to be working)?
-
- BTW - I have an 68040 NeXT
