- the interactive renderman engine, as implemented in the 3DKit,
- does in fact use the i860 on the NeXTDimension board for
- rendering computations. The implementor says that there is
- perhaps an order of magnitude better performance with the i860
- than the 040. I don't know what sort of benchmark was used to
- make this comparison.

- Has anyone outside of NeXT seen a 3DKit demo on a NeXTdimension
- system? All the demos that I have seen and heard of are done
- using the slabs.
