- Hi,
-
- Previously, there were MANY posts about the NeXTdimension board, and frankly,
- I'm confused. Can someone clarfiy the following:
-
- 1) Does it have closed-caption, teletext, etc. support as originally claimed?
-
- 2) What about the problem it had with 15 pixels missing (a vertical black line)
- on the right side of the live video output (or input?) -- it couldn't really
- display 640 by 480, but 625 by 480!!! Is it a hrdware problem (Oh, NO!) or a
- software problem (hope it's fixed in 3.0)?
-
- 3) Has anyone tried running RenderMan on a NeXTdimension? Is it much faster?
-
- 4) Compression in its future (JPEG or MPEG)?
-
-
- Please relpy by e-mail to: esky@marathon.cs.ucla.edu
-
- Thanks in advance!
