  13. I agree with Sherwood's (and Jess') complaint of the "two-minute demo". Here's
  14. another current data point.

  18. InstantTeX also supports the two-minute demo movement. (Who thought this up
  19. anyway--I can't even load TeX and type \relax in two minutes!-) I am (was?)
  20. really interested in this product since I work a lot with TeX, but how much
  21. TeXing can you do in two minutes. Look at its Preference panel--it should 
  22. take awhile just to figure all the options there (from what little I got to 
  23. see, it did look interesting.)

  25. Now for the good part--I clicked on help and InstantTeX passes its help(.dvi)
  26. file to TeXView (NOTE: It installs its own Beta version(2.1) of TeXview!!!)
  27. which in my rush I decided to print out. DO NOT DO THIS!!!! Since I didn't 
  28. notice that the "Custom Resolution" switch was ON (The InstantTeX version
  29. of TeXview came this way, I checked)
  30. my NeXT began generating fonts at 1270 dpi (also using up about 10 M of
  31. needed space in the process.)

  33. Fixes--(1) Make sure the CR switch is off,

  35. OR     (2) Don't use the TeXview supplied by InstantTeX

  37. OR     (3) Forget about the InstantTeX demo so you won't waste the 
  38.        ENTIRE F****** afternoon for a two minute demo!!!!!!!
