- Sonic Systems (408.736.1900) has a series of products called the EtherBridge
- Series which among other things allow you to share LocalTalk printers on an
- ethernet network. [in addtion it allows macs to be hooked up to the Ethernet
- network with no additional Ethernet hardware (other than ONE host Mac equipped
- with ethernet hardware)].
-
- This is done via software placed in the System Folder on a Mac with an ethernet
- card on the network.
-
- My question is with NeXT's support for LocalTalk under Ethernet (in 3.0) will I
- be able to see Mac LocalTalk peripherals on the NeXT side? Obviously I'd buy
- this product if I could PRINT to my LaserWriter NT from my NeXT via this set
- up. Or will I get this from the NeXT 3.0 Ethertalk support directly?
-
- Anyone from NeXT care to comment?
