- This may be a solution to a slightly different problem than Roger's, but
- at the moment I've got my Powerbook 170 connected to my NeXTstation via
- DataViz MacLinkPlus/PC's cable and associated software. Your approximately
- $130 gets you cables to connect Macs, PCs, etc. as well as the software
- for file transfer and translation between platforms. (The NeXT side of the
- protocol is supplied by "DataVizBridge" which should be in your
- NextDeveloper/Demos folder.)
-
- I've run into a few quirks with it; however, it appears to be the only
- game in town to convert my FrameMaker documents on the NeXT into
- WordPerfect for the MS-DOS world.
