- I am having some strange effects after I put 16 meg in my slab.
- I put in 4 4m*9 simms(70 ns). If I configure the slab to check parity everything
- runs fine. If I turn of parity checking mysterious things happen, like crashing
- programs and panics. Is is neccesary to turn parity checking on if you put
- 9 bit simms in ?? . A friend of mine is using his slab with 4 4M*9 and
- 4 1M*8 simms and it works fine. We both have firmware 2.5 v66 so the
- hardware is probably identical. Can someone shed some light on this mystery ??
