- Good idea, but you would have to have a box that transformed that raw
- bitstream from the CD player and turned it into the proper output on a
- SCSI bus. I've never heard of such a thing being sold separately, and if
- it did, it might cost more than you're saving.
- Or, you can always use your NeXT CD-ROM player as an audio player (it has
- a headphone jack and can be controlled via software to play audio CD's)
