- We installed a 90 Meg Bernoulli drive on our NeXT and
- have been quite happy with it until today. I inserted a disk
- that had been formatted on a DOS machine and found that the
- NeXT can't read it. A window opens up as normal and the NeXT
- recognizes the disk is a DOS disk but can't read or write it.
-
- You may not be surprised, but considering that Bernoulli's transport
- across different unix systems, the Mac can read DOS Bernoullis, and
- the NeXT can read DOS floppies. It WOULD seem reasonable that the
- DOS drivers on the NeXT could handle any drive on the SCSI bus.
-
- Is there a special driver one must get from either NeXT or Iomega to
- remedy this?
-
- Thanks.
