- I put my 040 mono cube on an ammeter a few months back, and found
- that it draws 0.91A, at 114V. It had a 660M Maxtor drive in it
- (dead now) and an OD. Thrashing the drives made no appreciable
- difference. By simple multiplication, (which probably is technically
- incorrect, but should be close) I figured that it uses about 75 KWH
- per month, if left on constantly. At $0.062 per KWH, that works out
- to $4.65 per month. Does anyone know what the error in my figuring
- is likely to be? I just used: (.91 X 114 X 24 X 30) / 1000 = 74.7 KWH.
