  12. Has anyone out there in Netland managed to get NIS to work on a LAN of
  13. WGS 6386/25's (or similar) served by a StarServer E over StarLAN?

  15. It seems that I'm not the only one with this problem.  The StarServer E
  16. dumps core when I do a

  20. And, on the same matter, where in the world is the documentation for
  21. NIS for AT&T SVR4?  The "Network User's and Administrator's Guide" makes 
  22. no mention of NIS.

  24. If NIS just don't work, is there an alternative?  Like maybe a kludge using
  25. RFS?
