- Well, I gave up and reinstalled. IBM's support is less than
- useless for problems like this; worse, they are a waste of time!
-
- I now have:
-
- Disk 1 (IDE)
- 1 Mb Boot Manager
- C: FAT Primary
- E: FAT
-
- Disk 2 (SCSI)
- 1 Mb Boot Manager
- D: FAT Primary
- F: FAT
- G: HPFS
- H: HPFS (OS/2 Boot)
-
- What is even more interesting, is that when I boot OS/2, all partitions
- are accessible! IBM is lying if they tell you that it won't work!
- Now if only OS/2 could have done a partial install to fix the
- COUNTRY.SYS enigma; better yet, if only IBM knew what the heck
- this bug means and how to fix it! Anyway,
- no problems at all booting from a SCSI disk from Boot Manager on
- thefirst disk which is IDE, after a reinstall. However, my desktop
- is back to the default
- :-(
