  13. Several Macintoshes around here have recently had system 7
  14. installed, and a few people are having problems.  In each case
  15. it's a IIsi that's unhappy; I don't know the details of each machine,
  16. but other models seem to work happily enough.

  18. Has anyone else encountered this sort of thing?  The worst case
  19. is just across the hall from me.  The machine had been crashing
  20. each morning on startup; then, yesterday, she tried changing the
  21. window border colors using the colors control panel, and now it
  22. will not start up at all.  The happy mac icon appears, but nothing
  23. more occurs, until we eventually give up.  She has managed to
  24. boot from a floppy disk with System 6, so data is salvageable, but
  25. this is not very helpful.

  27. I can get more detailed information if needed; at the moment, I'm
  28. wondering if anyone else has encountered this or if it's unique to
  29. my department.  Please send me email, because I don't get to
