  15.    A friend of mine with a Mac Classic II wants to make an "emergency"
  16. floppy that he can boot from in case his hard drive malfunctions for some
  17. reason.
  18.    The system needs to fit on one 1.44M floppy with about 200K free space
  19. for the disk utilities.
  20.    We've tried system 6.0.7, but it doesn't work on a Classic II. Now,
  21. before trying to locate a copy of 6.0.8 (which is supposed to work on a
  22. Classic II, right?) is there any program or something that would make 6.0.7
  23. work on Classic II, or is it possible to squeeze System 7 down? (We've tried
  24. such wonderful things as chopping unneeded things out of the System file with
  25. ResEdit...)
  26.    If anybody has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate them.
