- Hello MacFolk...
-
- A friend of mine with a Mac Classic II wants to make an "emergency"
- floppy that he can boot from in case his hard drive malfunctions for some
- reason.
- The system needs to fit on one 1.44M floppy with about 200K free space
- for the disk utilities.
- We've tried system 6.0.7, but it doesn't work on a Classic II. Now,
- before trying to locate a copy of 6.0.8 (which is supposed to work on a
- Classic II, right?) is there any program or something that would make 6.0.7
- work on Classic II, or is it possible to squeeze System 7 down? (We've tried
- such wonderful things as chopping unneeded things out of the System file with
- ResEdit...)
- If anybody has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate them.
