- Okay, I'm annoyed. I *want* that technical documentation. I *need*
- it. Now somebody is complaining because Apple is providing it and
- updating it to make it even easier to use and has the gall to actually
- charge for it :-).
-
- I will admit that my sense if irony was set off here. The same
- Addison-Wesley catalog that has the new IM series carries the new
- 7 volumes for the Next Developer Library series for NeXTSTEP, version 3.
- The cost in C$ 268.65. I imagine it will be about US$ 220.00
-
- I just can't imagine complaining about having documentation available.
- If you can't afford it, you're still in no worse shape than you would be
- programming, say DOS. Books (technical books, especially) ain't cheap.
- Saying that nobody should have them if you can't afford them is pretty
- selfish. I suppose you would be a lot happier if Apple just didn't release
- any technical documentation at all. That way you could have it all for free!
-
- If you are complaining about price, get real! Take a look at the price
- of *any* computing books around you. The Apple books are *better* priced
- than others on an $/amount basis (about the same per page, except IM is
- 8.5" x 11" instead of 7.5" x 9.5").
-
- Sigh. I don't think some people can *ever* be mad happy.
