- Let me get this straight. We're going to have to *pay* for
- these? OCE I can sort of understand. Not everyone does
- mail. AppleScript, I can almost understand. Not everyone
- needs scripting. Quickdraw GX I cannot understand. Why
- would Apple create a new imaging model and then guarantee
- its lack of acceptance by forcing users to pay for it?

- When Apple first announced that it would be asking users to
- pay for certain enhancements to the system software, I
- was worried that this would lead to stagnation as users
- refused to shell out. Now, my fears have doubled.
