- A person I work with is trying to understand MacOS, System 7 and A/UX, and I
- can't answer his questions, so I thought I'd post them and see what
- the experts say. If anyone can answer the following questions, please
- either post or email me at : davidson@casee.enet.dec.com.

- ------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- a. Is there a threading package in MacOS?
-
- b. When people talked about 'System 7 having virtual memory' does this mean
- that it really is MacOS that has it or does it mean that System 7
- adds it on top?
-
- c. If one were to write a Server application for a MAC would MacOS be
- a good underlying system or would A/UX be a better choice?
-
- d. Could you recommend a good book on MacOS?

- Thanks in advance,
