  15. I've developed a custom MDEF that supports shift- and option- key
  16. equivalents for menus (also SICNs). I would like to get some feedback
  17. before I release it for public consumption.

  19. The MDEF uses the 'extend' and 'condense' flags in the menu item's
  20. style field to indicate option- and shift- key equivalents, so it is
  21. very easy to author using any MENU resource editor. The API
  22. (essentially a replacement for the toolbox MenuKey call) is in Pascal.
  23. The MDEF is System-7 savvy (supports True Grey, Balloon Help, color
  24. menus).

  26. I need people who can give it a quick workout with their application
  27. menus and tell me if everything behaves the way it should. In
  28. particular, I haven't done much testing with popup menus. If you're
