- Hi!
-
- I've developed a custom MDEF that supports shift- and option- key
- equivalents for menus (also SICNs). I would like to get some feedback
- before I release it for public consumption.
-
- The MDEF uses the 'extend' and 'condense' flags in the menu item's
- style field to indicate option- and shift- key equivalents, so it is
- very easy to author using any MENU resource editor. The API
- (essentially a replacement for the toolbox MenuKey call) is in Pascal.
- The MDEF is System-7 savvy (supports True Grey, Balloon Help, color
- menus).
-
- I need people who can give it a quick workout with their application
- menus and tell me if everything behaves the way it should. In
- particular, I haven't done much testing with popup menus. If you're
- interested in testing for me, please send me mail at
- felciano@summit.stanford.edu.
-
- The MDEF is called PowerMDEF, and will be freeware.
