- I just got a new 'dcmd' for TMON called "Stopif", but there is little
- or no documentation on how I can use it. I am hoping I can use it
- to examine memory, and stop if a certain condition exists.
-
- I am using TMON pro, Ver 3.0, a Mac FX, with 32 Megs of memory, and
- running it in 32 bit mode. I don't know if this 'dcmd' will really
- do what I want, but according to the "help" information, I get the
- following, and it needs explanation.
-
- StopIf expr ; g
- Stop in Macsbug if expr is true.
- otherwize continue execution of the command line.
-
- Question: What is "expr", and what syntax form does this need
- in order to work. For instance, is it possible to use it to check
- the value of a certain register, and if true, stop?, what about
- memory locations?
-
- I am looking for anyone familiar with this 'dcmd' and how it is used.
