  12. MPW uses OBJ and TEXT types for files it creates and uses. But if I wish
  13. to sort the files in a window I am out of luck. I can view by kind, but
  14. the only kind is MPW document. I can 'Find File' all files ending in '.o'
  15. and view them all at once, then 'label' them, then view by label. This
  16. only works in System 7 and is clumsy.

  18. The MPW SetFile could also have a 'label' option, but it doesn't.

  20. In short - I want to be able to group TEXT files and OBJ files for
  21. selection by lasso, or selection box, or whatever it is called.
