- In <peter-270792171254@134.7.50.3>, Peter Lewis sets out his wish list
- for TP version 5.0:

- >fixing the editor bugs that have been around since THINK Pascal 3

- > fun disappearing begin's
-
- I'd rather have an external editor... I just discovered Alpha this
- weekend and would _really_ like to have it integrated with TP.
-
- >larger that 64k structures and more that 64k globals.
- >structured constants such as those available in Turbo Pascal
-
- Definitely
-
- >multiple errors detected per compile
-
- This raises the "old man falls down the stairs" problem; it would be
- nice, but to me it's not that important.
-
- >warnings for unsued variables, or functions with no return value
- >nested comments would be nice, and multiline comments as well
- >An option for relaxed string range checking
- >Range Checking code that did sensible things in compiled apps (instead of

- > macsbug - great for debugging )-:
- >Better control of break points such a break if x<0 etc
-
- Enthusiastically seconded. It looks as though you're right in saying
- that Symantec is devoting more of their time and money to TC. It's a
- shame, too.
