-
- Now if I could only explain the utility of UseNet to my boss in terms
- as simple as these, our company would probably have a full time
- internet connection within a week! Unfortunately, bossy doesn't know
- anything about patching.
-
- More to the point, if you're worried about the legitimacy of this
- information, I've heard it from at least two core members of the System 7
- team (Blue Meanies), Dean Yu and Greg Marriott. Dean's on the net all
- the time, and Greg is sometimes here, as well, although I am familiar
- with him mostly through America Online.
-
- Anyway, Dean actually can narrow it down to one trap you shouldn't tail
- patch because you'll screw up a come-from patch Apple couldn't remove in
- the newly-standard way. I'm not sure, but if I were up against a wall
- on the wrong side of a firing squad, I'd probably guess it's FrontWindow.
