- Hello all.
-
- I've just used ResEdit 2.1 to create a resource file for my application.
- It has a single BNDL resource with a single file type (APPL) which I
- gave icons. After rebuilding my Desktop, the application appears with
- it's new icon in it's folder, and with it's correct small icon in the
- Apple Menu. But when I launch the application it's icon is not displayed
- correctly on the right-hand side of the menu bar or in the pull-down
- menu below. Instead, I get the generic application icon.
-
- I also just got the shareware program _Launch, and it too cannot seem to
- find my application's new icon.
-
- Any ideas?

-
- P.S. Why did Apple change the desktop file to a pair of data-only files
- in System 7? I can't use ResEdit anymore to see if my icons are correctly
- loaded in the desktop file.
