- I know, I know, y'all are sitting there saying:
- "This topic has been thrashed to death, what now?"
-
- I'm trying to help MPW be as quick as possible (ha!) [yes I've read the
- TechNote on the subject] by putting commonly used tools, load/dump files,
- temp files, etc. on a RAM disk, but it dawned on me that these files are
- most likely ending up in the RAM cache as well, which would be most
- unnessary.
-
- Can I set the RAM cache to not cache files from a specific volume (the RAM
- disk)? Or, is it better to not use a RAM disk and use a huge RAM cache?
-
- Any clues out there?
-
- Thanks!
