- Run, do not walk away from MS QuickBASIC. The last time it was updated was in
- 1988. It is not 32-bit compatible, does not produce 32-bit compatible
- software, supports nothing more than the old eight-color QuickDraw model, and
- what is more, *still* costs as much as it did in 1988. How's that for a
- run-on sentence?
-
- Unfortunately, you're not going to do much better elsewhere. The last I've
- heard, Zedcor still hasn't updated its ZBasic product (although it was leaps
- and bounds better than MS QuickBASIC), and as for True Basic, my only
- experience was with the demo, and it wouldn't run under System 7. Oh yeah;
- MS QuickBASIC doesn't work too well with System 7 either.
-
- Would you like to buy my copy, *real* cheap? :)
